Gastvrouw Maria is van de buitencategorie. Nog nooit iemand getroffen die zo begaan is met haar gasten en zich zo dienbaar opstelt. Hygiëne was uitstekend. Ontbijt met verse lokale producten.

Badkamer onder schuin dak, is niet ideaal voor mensen boven de 1.6m. Geen stopcontact vrij bij nachtkastjes.

O alojamento está minuciosamente decorado, com imenso bom gosto. Foi o sítio ideal para desligar e recarregar energias com a companhia das nossas patudas. A Jacinta faz comida maravilhosa e foi também maravilhosa a receber-nos. Recomendo vivamente!

Absolutely adorable house in a calm area perfect to relax. The hosts Maria and her Mum welcomed us so lovely.

It is a beautiful house, with very relaxing and calming atmosphere. We immediately felt at peace. It’s beautifully decorated. The host Maria is exceptional. She is kind, attentive and very helpful. She gave us great recommendations. The breakfast is amazing with homemade jams, delicious bread, eggs, homemade yogurt and a pastry, fruits. It never ends! We were sad to leave, but happy we got to spend two wonderful nights there. We will definitely come back.

My wife and I recently spent two nights at A Padaria Farmhouse and left wishing we had stayed longer. We were warmly welcomed by Jacinta, the gracious matriarch, who showed us to our cozy room, which opened onto a large shared balcony. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated on an unusually hot day. As the name suggests, the farmhouse was once a working bakery, and that heritage is alive and well. Jacinta mentioned that another couple had opted for dinner at the farmhouse and invited us to join. We happily accepted and were treated to a memorable evening of delicious food, excellent family wine, and delightful conversation. Jacinta’s cooking and baking were truly exceptional — from appetizers to dessert, everything was homemade and full of heart. The next morning, we were greeted by Maria and served a beautiful breakfast. A personal highlight was the homemade breads and jams, along with honey from the neighbor’s hives next door. Behind the property, there’s a short trail that leads to some older buildings no longer in use. If you're lucky, you might spot their uncle’s flock of sheep grazing nearby — we were even treated to the sight of a days-old black lamb. So cute! Staying at A Padaria Farmhouse felt like being welcomed into the family. If you have the chance, don’t hesitate — you’ll be so glad you did.
