Gerard is the perfect host - he offers a very warm welcome and excellent food. We appreciated the attention to detail both in terms of the food and the beautifully renovated property. It is a wonderful combination of the old and new.

We were truly so happy with everything-- the breakfast each morning was an amazing start to the day, Gerard really put a lot of thought into everything he served. The guesthouse itself was gorgeous, and he was really attentive to anything we needed (from booking massages in the spa room to letting us in when we locked ourselves out). It's also in an amazing area, very close to taxi stops, cafes, and La Ghriba synagogue.

Perhaps the wifi connection could have been a little better, but I think that was fixed halfway through our stay :)

Logement rénové avec le charme du traditionnel, un petit déjeuner excellent avec jus et confitures maison, du continental et une touche locale, une belle bibliothèque sur la culture de l’île et ses attractions et un propriétaire aux petits soins.

La piscine et le sauna fonctionnaient pas.

Les personnels sont très gentils et serviables :) le vibe arabesque de la maison est fantastique !

Climatiseur qui fait du bruit, on entend le bruit du route la chambre à des problèmes d’isolation, la douche n’est pas pratique

Our stay at Dar Bibine could not have been better, and we are grateful to Gerard for the marvelous time. The building is absolutely beautiful, an exquisite and peaceful oasis with great character. Gerard was so welcoming and kind. The room was perfect and the place well-stocked with anything we might need. Breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. The location was ideal, right in Djerbahood and walking distance to the El Ghriba synagogue. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. Thank you immensely to Gerard and Dar Bibine. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future.
