It was quiet, immaturity clean, the bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. It was the perfect location as we traveled through New Zealand.

The breakfast was very good. Cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast with a variety of spreads. Location was great and very quiet.

I found the bed very uncomfortable so didn't sleep well. On the other hand my husband slept well.

Peaceful location with a lovely garden. Attractive decor and nice having carpet throughout. The space felt roomy. Delicious breakfast.

Some dust on bathroom and toilet windowsills, but otherwise clean and tidy. Internet was slow but that couldn't be helped.

Location was nice. Roomy set up with separate lounge area. Separate bathroom and toilet. Tea and coffee facilities and continental breakfast is good. Handy to a very good tapas bar.

The two main pieces of furniture are uncomfortable. The bed is very firm which is good but it doesn't have a nice comfort layer. The couch has a low back and needs more cushions to enable people to create a comfortable lounging position.

We were greeted by Fynala on arrival who is very friendly. The room and facilities were really lovely. It's a very cosy and a comfortable overnight stay for two. Parking was great, and we were able to keep our bikes on the back as it felt safe and secure. A separate bathroom and toilet were nice. We had forgotten our body wash, so it was nice to have that provided. Breakfast was really yummy too! A simple toast and muesli setup with a kettle/jug which is all you need for a one night stay. The space is connected to the home but it's separate enough that it feels like you're in your own space.

Fynala's accommodation is spacious and private. It is walking distance to town and the wonderful Hare and Copper bar/restaurant and yet situated in a quiet country lane.

After a beautiful drive southward along Lake Taupo's eastern coastline, we stayed at this very nice BnB house in Turangi, just south of Lake Taupo, maybe 1/4 mile off of Hwy 1. Breakfast was done very nicely, with typical BnB self-help coffee, tea, milk, bread, toast, juice, fruit, etc, provided in a private little kitchen/den. Wally was very hospitable and friendly, and remained available with a knock on the hall door to his residence. Two nearby restaurants, almost walking distance, but Hare & Copper (recommended by Wally) was closed for remodeling, and the Tongariro Lodge was beautiful, but VERY expensive, so we drove south 10 minutes south for a quick dinner, and back to retire for the night.

No complaints at all other than too few choices nearby for dinner.
