The Moira - Bed and Breakfast

Great location, large room with huge tv (penthouse), nice staff, nice breakfast, good shower (however no bath as advertised).

Breakfast was good but sometimes a bit unclear what you could order with whom or how long it would take to get it.

Room was nice a spacious-- lots of cupboards and drawers, and plenty of books to read. Breakfast was different every day- a mix of Indian and English.

No T.V. Also, we were given to understand we had a Deluxe room, but, due to a mix up I couldn't understand, we were in a basic room. Apparently, we booked, had an issue with payment, and was told my cousin, whom we met, had booked for us a well. I'm not bothered about a t.v, but my husband is!!

The best thing was breakfast. We went for dosas and they were so homey and healthy

I would say their lack of hoarding board. But it is understandable as they are a homestay

Only the location.

We felt conned about our stay at The Moira. First the online photos were completely not representative of the room or space we had access to. Second the place was dirty - shower curtains, dusty plants, the floor! It seemed like we had intruded into someone’s home and they weren’t really ready for visitors. True we had not realized we were in a homestay. But a homestay is warm and welcoming and this was not. While the place is no doubt well located we did not appreciate being thrust into what seemed like the child’s room while she was away at school. Really astonished at all the rave reviews from others. It was not evident to us.

The place was just excellent, do ask mehul for any queries and he would be there to help you , for breakfast if you require anything special just let him know in advance the previous day and he gets it for you
