Casa de Praia Guest House

A gem of a guesthouse on the Camino route. What wonderful hosts, so many little extras like wine and cake available to guests on arrival, using an honesty box. It was my sister’s birthday and the perfect way to end our first day on the Portuguese Camino. Thank you.

Very nice clean room, place to do laundry, nice common area. It’s about 300m off the beach, not much, but you feel it in the end of the day.

Clean and well equipped accommodation which we enjoyed staying at while walking the Camino. We had an en-suite room with balcony and we were surprised my the size of the bathroom. Great sharing facilities for guests to enjoy (kitchen, laundry facilities, common dining room and sitting area. Very good breakfast. There are a couple of restaurant nearby. We really recommend Ruben’s where we had a lovely, value for money meal and great service.

When other guests are entering or exiting their rooms, the doors could be quite noisy

Der Garten und die Lage waren eigentlich ganz ok. Ca. 500 m vom Strand. Restaurant Rubens recht nahe . Unsere Empfehlung Restaurant Rubens tolles Preis Leistungsverhältnis sooo preiswert und gut . Bäckerei mit gutem Galao und den üblichen Teilchen auch sehr angenehm . Minimercado auch in der Nähe- Wasser frische Kirschen.

Das Bad bietet praktisch keine Ablage. Im Zimmer keine Möglichkeit einen Koffer außer auf dem Bett auszupacken. Daher auch schlechtes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Frühstück gegenüber The One Grand Hotel in Povoa de Varzim ( das zudem noch 10€ billiger war ) nicht vergleichbar. Die Unterkunft würde ich nicht noch einmal buchen.
