Beautiful place in the mountains near Levanto. Comfortable room, delicious breakfast. Also the swimming pool is big plus.

The breakfast was generous and good. The staff are terrific,and the place is located in a quiet, beautiful setting overlooking Levanto and the bay. Atlantico Borgo is my favourite place to stay which is why I have now stayed there several times.

We had a room with windows facing the street and place with 2 restaurants. It was quite lout until 2am, so better keep your windows closed

The hotel is picturesquely positioned on a hillside with a vue of Levanto from the gardens. However, the location comes at a price. Firstly, you have to park your car in a small parking lot at the roadside and to walk down to the hotel and possibly two flights of stairs up to your room. You may want ask the staff to help you with your baggage. Secondly, as there are no restaurants close by you have to drive to Levanto and return at night on a narrow winding road with lots of serpentines. Back at the hotel you may not find a space to park your car. The hotel excelled with an excellent breakfast with fruit, cheese, ham, salami, sweets, jam, bread, fried eggs, orange juice and a choice of cofffee which was all served on a roofed garden terrace with a view of the sea and Levanto. Finally, the owner and staff were very helpful and polite. Apart from the torture matress there is not much to criticize although we think that the room was overpriced at 180 €. Had we booked the room just a day prior to our arrival we would have paid only 150 €.

The "back-breaking" criticism is the Japanese style mattress that was hard as concrete. Not a good night's sleep at all and aching bones in the morning. As this had been pointed out in other reviews as we noticed only later we discussed the problem with the owner and he said that guests should inform the hotel about their mattress preference before arrival and he would try to accomodate their wishes. The hotel has only 8 rooms but as the rooms are not soundproof it can be noisy if you have inconsiderate neighbours.
