a fabulous experience, the staff are wonderful, helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. The place itself is in a beautiful valley. The road up to it is not for the fainthearted and the mule track down to the buildings might be a bit trying for the less nimble but it is well worth the effort. The dinner that is put on for the guests was a very convivial affair that brought us all together around a well cooked and very generous meal. An opportunity not to be missed. We will return and are happy to spread the word about this exceptional place and the great crew of people who make it such an enjoyable place to stay.

This place is a gem. I could write pages to describe it, but you would still have to go yourself, to experience it. We stayed here before (Sept21) and we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the location, the friendliness and hospitality by the people who live here and run the place. There is an old church with a few small houses, an old school room, a carpentry museum, all lovingly restored by the Friends of Bagnieri. We were lucky to have discovered it and made new friends. Go and visit this place if you love nature, arts & crafts and want some peace. You will become a happier person, thanks to LISA, CHRISTIANO and FRANCESCO. We will be back! (And the fine sculptress Cecilia Martin Birsa is next door!)
