Stanze Barocche

Abbiamo alloggiato per il ponte di Pasqua con il nostro cagnolino. Praticamente nel centro di Modica. Nessun problema con l'auto, parcheggiata sotto la struttura. Alloggio perfetto, pulitissimo. Delizioso il proprietario,. Una fonte indomabile di saggezza e di informazioni. Ci ha dato ragguagli su storia, curiosità, e location della zona. Grazie davvero di tutto.

Siamo stati bene , il proprietario, un signore molto a modo e disponibile, ci ha accolti come in famiglia e ci ha subito messi a nostro agio. La camera molto bella e ampia. La posizione ottima, proprio sul corso dove cè tutto a portata di mano. Grazie

We haven't received an information regarding a road closure. Only, that we should put in a different street address where we will be collected. We have tried to reach the accommodation, but as it was an Easter Friday, they have closed the road... We have tried to go around - same ... As many towns in Sicily, Modica is also full of serpentines, so to get from one place to another is quite time consuming. Also finding a parking space is not that easy. After a long day we have parked a car and called the owner. As he picked up the phone he started to speak ONLY Italian! No single word in English. I have tried to call the other number, hoping, that his wife / with whom we were communicating via Booking will pick up. Again only Italian from the owner. I wrote messages on the booking / as it stated, that I shoul either call the husband, or write her there - NO ANSWER. We were soooo tired, hungry.... parked far, didn't feel to walk that much with our staff. Finally when we arrived, we have offered to pay him less to compensate us from all the troubles and loosing time. NO! Either we pay the full ammount or we can go somewhere else. Well, nice!!!!! MONEY - MONEY - MONEY. The wifi didn't work, it was cold in the room, the fan didn't work. We have left really early to get us breakfast and see the town we have missed the previous night. Before departure we couldn't find one of our document for a long while - so I have thexted the owner (calling wouldn't help) if we haven't left it there by chance. Did we get a reply? NO!!!!! Well, mister OWNER, the service doesn't finish with receiving the money. Sad to leave such a feedback. We had a really bad experience.
