This was an excellent lodging for my partner and me. We spent a couple of nights Our hosts were friendly and helpful with good hints on the local spas and attractions. Rotorua main town in easy reach. Overlooking a pretty lake. Breakfast excellent. Heartily recommended.

Leigh and Mike made us feel very welcome in their beautiful lodge. The location is stunning and the rooms are delightfully appointed. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

"Glorious views, calming and lovely stay"

Glorious views of the lake from the deck, as well as every window in our suite. Beautifully decorated and appointed home, a step or two above many of our recent stays. Kind and engaging hosts with lots of experience in the area, always willing to chat and give touring tips over an evening glass of wine. Sumptuous breakfast. Just a wonderful stay.

Here's a biggie: would have appreciated a side table (for a wine glass) next to seating areas.
