Old Manor House

Het is een fijne locatie en het ontbijt was erg goed. Zowel het Engelse ontbijt als het aanbod aan continentale ontbijt. De kamer en badkamer mooi ruim. Een gezellige woonkamer waar je ook koffie en thee kunt pakken, naast wat er op de kamer al werd aangeboden. De host erg vriendelijk en er is de mogelijkheid om je electrische auto op te laden wat ideaal is. Vanuit hier kun je mooi de heuvels in, richting de kust of o.a. naar Glastonbury. We hebben heerlijk gegeten in de dicht nabijgelegen Inn

We roken wel een schimmelachtige geur in de badkamer.

Graham, the host, was delightful! Everything we needed was provided, and the breakfast was delicious every morning - the home made jams and bread especially! The location was perfect to explore the surrounding areas by car, including Cheddar (caves, gorge, town), Weston-Super-Mare, and Wookey Hole.

Very friendly guy who runs the place. Greeted us at the door and made us feel very welcome from the start. Only spent one night but the it was very pleasant. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Zero complaints.

Lovely and clean brilliant host

Proprietor was nice and very accommodating. The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was very good.

My wife and I were impressed by the room and the way it had been fitted. All clean, and nice carpet, plus a soft floor in the bathroom you can't slip on. The same comments are for the design of the rest of the house and the common lounge. The parking area was neatly laid out and very clear. Very good taste in the decoration throughout the house. Little extra touches were well done, with a shelf for the coffee items, leaving the desk table top free, and nicely printed notes by the light switches explaining which lights they operated. There was all sort of necessary printed information which I found very useful to make the best out of our time arround the area. The house itself is kept in perfect condition ,good quality and with very good taste and harmony in the interior design. It was a good plus the little fridge in the bedroom as well as fresh milk in the fridge in the common lounge. Breakfast was very well organised, fast and a plus for the pottery or china.

Nothing we didn't like, the property was on a busy road junction, but easy access to the village which was well preserved and full of history.

Welcoming, friendly & relaxed, everything well thought out . Clean & comfortable. Very good breakfast , and amazing home made jams!

Great location. Quiet. Very friendly and welcoming. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, and well equipped. Great attention to detail. Graham and team had thought of everything and clearly wanted their guests to have an outstanding experience. Highly recommended.
