Everything! This place was sparkling clean, with everything you could need for a pleasant stay. My son spent hours playing with the dogs, we did long walks. I was able to prepare breakfast for my family both mornings we stayed. Having porto wine at the balcony (courtesy of the hosts) was incredible. Sunsets at the property, the included museum guide and wine tasting plus the shop. I have nothing to complain the character, the charm of the property were incredible. If you want to have dinner it’s a short drive to town.

Beautiful location, well thought out accommodation. The MET staff was very attentive and resolved small hiccups quickly.

The property itself is absolutely stunning, set within a vineyard with amazing views. The little touches provided by the property and staff, with breakfast made for us and produce offered in the property, were incredible.

The breakfast was more food than 2 people could ever eat. The staff was soo nice and extremely accommodating. The cottage that we stayed in was absolutely adorable, very clean and so old and antique it was an honor to stay there.

There was nothing not to like

Absolutely loved our stay, from the friendly staff, to the wonderful views, plentiful breakfast and great location. The decor and furniture totally felt in keeping with the building. And the free samples of port along with a visit to the small on-site museum were much appreciated.

Accommodations were excellent, very comfortable, great view from deck. Excellent breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Great wine and port tour and sampling.

This was probably one of the best places we have ever stayed in. It was faultless. Wonderful staff, superb accommodation coupled with a delicious breakfast each day included in the price and located in a vineyard! Who could ask for more??
