Aultnagar Accommodation

I travel frequently for work and this accommodation is the best B&B I have visited for a very long time. excellent facilities, very high level of cleanliness, nice self service breakfast room with everything you could ask for in a continental breakfast. Hosts were welcoming and made themselves available to help with anything without being intrusive. Great value for money. Just perfect and highly recommend

Only very slight downside, is the location just on the outskirts of town, if you didn't have transport. Its a very short distance so I'm nitpicking on an otherwise perfect accommodation.

Everything was perfect

The location was great with wonderful views. It was close to the center of Kirkwall while being very quiet. Our host was exceptionally friendly and hospitable, and the provided breakfasts each morning were amazing!

We wish we could have stayed longer!

The property is well located and about a 3km walk from the centre of Kirkwall. The property was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. The owners live in the house but there is a separate entrance for guests and it felt very private. There was a range of cereals, fresh fruit and bread available for breakfast and the host also asked whether we would like pancakes; there was also plenty of sauces and toppings.

There wasn’t anything we really didn’t like. If I had to say anything, though it is totally out of the hosts control and due to the remoteness of the island, it’s that walking back from Kirkwall in the dark felt a bit hairy as it is along an extremely dark road without pavements or street lighting.

Laura and Brian were warm, gracious hosts for the 3 nights we were guests.The room was comfortable with nice views of the countryside and breakfast was delicious. Town is just a pleasant 20-minute walk. We would stay here again and recommend this lovely B&B to anyone.

Lovely, clean, home-like accomodations. we were made to feel welcome and were given great suggestions on places to explore on Orkney. breakfasts were great, lots of options (pancakes one morning). in the evening there were tasty home-made treats waiting for us as well.

Well positioned great views. Very good kitchenette could cook had all facilities you could want. Very well thought out for guests. Excellent stay.
