Casa Stella Country House

Our stay at Cassa Stella Country House, owned by Massimo and Ryan, was truly unforgettable. The house, over 300 years old, exudes authenticity and beauty. Stepping inside felt like traveling back in time and experiencing the spirit of a noble Italian family, complete with all the luxury of those days, including a refreshing pool for the hot Italian days. Massimo and Ryan were not only lovely hosts but also shared their family history with us, adding a personal touch to our stay. Their kindness extended beyond hospitality: they provided us with valuable tips for good restaurants, helped us organize a visit to a local ham factory, and even gave us directions to a convenient parking lot in Bologna. It's difficult to put into words how wonderful the place and its owners are; it's a hidden gem that you'll want to keep to yourself. However, we wholeheartedly recommend this experience to everyone who has the opportunity to visit. We are already planning our return visit to bask in the exceptional hospitality once again.

Beautiful and well-maintained villa with stunning views. Spaciuos room, beautiful garden and lovely pool where you can relax. Peaceful location, but still within walking distance of the village. Ryan and Massimo are the most accommodating and hospitable hosts you could have. They took such good care of us throughout our stay. They know the best places to visit in the area and we also had great experiences outside the villa based on their recommendations. Hope we can return some day!

Ryan and Massimo make your stay an exceptional experience. Their communication and help - both prior and throughout our stay - was fantastic. The villa is in stunning, well maintained grounds with incredible views over the rolling hills. Extremely spacious rooms, and lovely simple breakfast served outside. They made the end of our honeymoon all the more special. Thank you both.

Ryan and Massimo are the best hosts you can have. Thoughtful, charming and with great humor. They know the best places to visit in the surroundings. They give exellent advice of the best restaurants. The room was spacious with a nice new bathroom. A wonderful swimmingpool and a garden with several places to sit and relax. Breakfast is very good. I hope we can go back next year!

Visiting Bologna and heard about the Truffle Festival in Savigno, so decided to book last-minute. What a surprise to find such a gem of a B&B located in the hills above the town. The house is quintessentially Italian. Elegant and simply beautiful. My room, Peonia, was very comfortable. A very large bedroom, with a spectacular view towards the hills and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was a feast, served with kindness by the lovely hosts. I loved everything and will definitely come back for longer next time.

Our stay at Casa Stella was really one of a kind. It is actually a place you want to keep to yourself. Like a little treasure. The history of the house, the nicely decorated rooms with love for past times, the breakfast with delicious cappuci's and home baked crostata. It all fitted into our Italian dream. Massimo and Ryan made us really feel at home. They were so kind and considerate. We made warm memories at the local town of Savigno and surroundings. But there is so much more to see and do. We will absolutely return!
