B&B Sgonico

We liked everything about our stay. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Had enough place to put all our stuff and nothing was in the way. The pool was great and had quite big clothes drying rack. There was a great laundromat in Prosecco, which was very useful. Everything we needed - we just had to ask. And breakfast truly was great, compared to what you can usually get in Italy.

You will really need to drive for everything. Sgonico is so small that there's not really any place to walk to. Also, if you're a light sleeper, there's a church near and it rings every 30 minutes. Didn't bother us too much (and I think that they've done a great job with soundproofing the place, because you can't hear the neighbours at all...), but maybe it's a problem for some.

Všetko bolo výnimočné, až na drobnosti. Majitelia oznámili, že sa máme ubytovať do 15.30, lebo odchádzajú na rodinnú slávnosť, tento časový limit v propozíciách nebol. Našťastie nechali izby otvorené.

Raňajky boli v cene, ale až na náš dotaz nám čašníčka ponúkla jogurty a praženicu, džusu, kávy aj mlieka bolo málo, croissant len pre každého jeden. Nápoje doplnili, pečivo ani chlieb nie. Škoda, trochu to pokazilo dojem.

Goed verzorgd, mooi, nieuw, ruime slaapkamer met airco, compacte zitkamer op B.g., mooie badkamer, zwembad, heel rustig, ontbijt met lekkere koffie en vleeswaren. Brandschoon. Vlak bij Triëst en de kust.

Er is geen enkele mogelijkheid om iets zelf te eten te maken, al was het maar voor lunch. Omdat eetgelegenheden in de omgeving schaars zijn (het ligt een beetje afgelegen) en alleen per auto bereikbaar vonden we dat wel jammer. Er is een restaurant naast, maar dat is high end, niet voor een hapje tussendoor. En we vonden het wel prijzig.

Stunning location in the foothills above Trieste. Small village. Beautiful modern multilevel apartment, fresh breakfast on the patio. Owner Pamela was very accommodating and friendly. Thank you for the relaxing stay.

Very nice hostess. Quiet place, large garden full of flowers, figs, clean illuminated pool. Rich delicious breakfast. If we didn't have something or needed something, we just had to ask the hostess. Everything is close - the city, restaurants, caves, beaches, sights. We will definitely come back here again. We had a great time here.
