Location super, grounds were beautiful kept and the only sound was birdsong. Really comfortable bed, and the bath was a lovely touch.

Great room and facilities for self-catering. Bed was so comfortable. Nice compact, but, fully functional kitchen area. Nice batch and shower facilities. All very well-presented and clean. Decor was very good quality.

Decorated to a high standard. Comfortable bed and very clean. Delicious homemade chocolate brownies on arrival. Plenty of tea and coffee. Delicious breakfast available in kitchenette. Parking close by.

Nothing really. It was a little cold when we first arrived but the underfloor heating soon started to warm the place up.

The large, comfortable bed, the quiet location, roomy bathroom with efficient shower / bath. Quality of fittings and bedding. Kitchen equipment, coffee-maker, microwave.

Given the glowing reports elsewhere, it seems churlish to point out some shortcomings. This is after all 'luxury' accommodation. The 'outdoor dining area', 'furniture' and/or 'terrace' consist of a selection of folding stools, very small tables, none very clean, in a shady area covered with loose stones. Nowhere is there a 'patio' in the conventional sense of the word, a stone floored area. The room should have had a 'desk', apparently, but didn't, and the 'seating area' is no more than a very small table with chairs, making eating extremely cramped. For 'breakfast', we might have reasonably expected a freshly-cooked hot meal and a range of cereals and fruit. What was provided and left in the kitchen was a basic continental breakfast. Our hosts were not present.
