Our stay at The Belfry was perfect, the room was spacious and clean with a lovely view of the church. Breakfast was delicious especially with the little helpers. Great location and even got parking directly outside.

The bed was very comfortable and clean. Bonus was the large bed. Location was perfect, we got parked right outside and walked into town. The hotel gave a free parking pass. Water bottle, biscuits and robes given in the room. Very convenient and a nice touch for room 8 Was able to check in early which helped massively.

The heating specified it came on twice a day but we felt it was on more than that. We were on the top floor and ended up having to open the windows and turn all the radiators down. Was a bit too warm for us. There was no fridge in the room, not an issue as one was down stairs available for use but for us we prefer one in the room for drinks.

Me and my partner stayed for two nights. The building itself has been beautifully kept. Inside as you walk in, it is fresh, warm and inviting. Our room which was on the third floor was absolutely lovely. The bed was very comfortable and there was ample space for out clothes and bits and bobs. The shower was lovely, high pressure and drenched you with enough space to wash and enjoy your shower. There is a charming view of the church and down onto the upper parts of a quiet street. We were a 5 minute walk from the Whale bones on one side and a huge beach in the other direction. the breakfast was made to perfection. I had the pancakes one morning with coffee and juice and fresh fruit. The next day I had the classic full english where every aspect of it was clearly made up of quality produce. It was nothing short of sublime. The staff were very friendly and helpful whilst giving you your own space to enjoy your breakfast. I would highly recommend staying. It is not a cheap option, but thats the price you pay if you want a stay of this calibre and I they they could even justify charging more.
