Stanwell Stansted Airport

The room and bed was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean and sufficient for me. Thankyou for the tea making facility, tv and WiFi.

No obvious sign from the bus stop or main road, had to ask in the pub, so everyone knew I was alone. There looked like a house sign indicating the driveway, no sign of a hotel. Arriving round the back of the building with a full glass door made me feel unsafe on my own especially as I had to leave at 3am in the dark alone. However I did feel warm, comfortable and cosy in bed with the telephone on a a cup of tea and the shower was hot and clean though there was obviously need for repair and repainting. If things were updated and refreshed it would make a lot of difference. Thank you.

В этот раз небыло мыла к сожалению! И был только 1 пакетик гель для душа в место 2 пакетиков не мешало бы стульчик в номере дополнительный! Было бы сдорово кровать чуть побольше ...шкаф мне кажется можно было убрать кровать пошире поставить!

First room I was offered had only one working light bulb in the entry area to the room. Second room had better lighting. Both rooms were chilly.

The hotel's airport transfer is not available at night, or in the early morning, so I had to use taxis. This made the hotel an expensive option - in reality it would probably have been cheaper for me to simply stay in one of the (high priced) hotels at the airport, as I had a very early flight to catch in the morning.

Great location. Lovely staff. Everything we needed for a night's stay. Could do with a new mattress. But excellent value.
