"Magical Cascais"

Live the Cascais life in a beautiful home in the center of town. Hosted by a great local family that will make you feel home. Perfect breakfast, soft and comfortable bedding, a calming home. 100% recommend and will go back!

"Excellent value for money and excellent host"

Miguel, our host, is what I liled most about the property. He is an absolute gentlemen, so kind and minded us so well. He gave us a little tour when we arrived to show us the main places to eat/go Excellent location, literally 2mins walk to the beach Allowed me to leave my bag there after check out until a late evening flight. Quiet considering it’s in the centre Excellent value for money, it’s basic accommodation.

The breakfast is only a roll, cheese & ham, yogurt and one type of cereal. Some fruit would be welcome and even boiled eggs! The mattresses in the bedrooms weren’t the best quality, lumpy!

"Central location but ..."

Hosts were friendly and helpful. Central location close to beach and restaurants and an easy walk to train and bus station.

Noisy at night because our room overlooked a bar. Minimal furniture. One bathroom with very small washbasin shared by 5 bedrooms upstairs. Automatic light on upstairs landing cut out and left you in complete darkness. Showers were downstairs.

"Above and beyond expectations."

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, The location was amazing, and the facilities were execellent. We also really appreciated the attention to details (cleanliness, comfortable sheets/blankets, beautiful window, and clean bathrooms) It was very nice of them to have a little breakfast every morning and show us around the town.

We had to leave too soon!

Such a lovely welcome from the host, and even a tour around town when we arrived! We felt very at home at Casa Joana, it was very clean and central with lots of lovely restaurants in the streets around us, with some great recommendations thanks to the host!
