The host is very gracious, although he mostly speaks Italian. With google translate it was no problem. It is about a 15 minute walk to the train, and is in a really nice neighborhood. The bus stop is right around the corner, even for buses going as far as Taormina.

I 2 Puttini is definitely a cozy and quiet place to stay when visiting Catania. I stayed here for a conference and found the location very convenient, as it’s close to Corso Italia, a central avenue that connects you to many key areas. Nearby, you’ll find bakeries, cafes, pharmacies, bus stops, and ATMs. The accommodations are simple but provide everything you need for a peaceful stay. Plus, you’re less than a 5-minute walk from the bus stop for the airport shuttle. Francesco, the host, is kind and welcoming. He’s always available to assist with whatever you need, whether it’s information about the city, directions, recommendations, or anything else. This will definitely be my go-to place whenever I return to Catania

Fine for what it was...If you're going to Catania a reasonable choice if you're just looking for somewhere to crash. The owner was helpful if pushed a little. Satisfactory.

Location.

It was well situated between Catania Centrale and the station to catch the Circumetnea, with plenty of small cafes, mini markets, bars and a couple of excellent pizza restaurants. It was easy to wander to the old town. Francesco was welcoming and friendly. The room was big and airy and clean. All we needed for a couple of nights.

Breakfast was very basic but not a deal breaker.

It was misery, smell of mold. The breakfast was awful. They charged us extra money for late arrival! Never come back again.
