Almor Hostel With Pool in right center

Hanna was a superb host. Helped us with booking our tour for Halong Bay. She speaks good English and is very friendly.

We wanted food and water but unfortunately despite it being advertised they were not doing it because the homestay is not busy. We feel this should therefore not be advertised.

I wasn't too happy.

I felt that from the first moment the owner tried to sell me tours. Her brother(?) who is usually arround doesnt speak English well. The pool was closed in winter, which is ok but not when it is MARKETED as a location with pool. I had issues with the warm water not working in my room no matter what I set the water switch to and the bed was definitely one of the less comfy ones on my Vietnam tour. I didn't like it.

The pool was not available. Booking says you can check in after 1 pm, but we had to wait until 2. Also check out time is different.

Location was great.

Was no pool. Ants were everywhere and crawling on you during the night.

Very nice host. Nice room and clean. Nice food. Great value for money.

The day trip recomended by host was not the best .

The owner is very friendly and helps to cover all your needs from laundry service to tour planning. She speaks very good English, so the communication is very easy. They also offer breakfast for reasonable prices and you can book boat tours including pickup and drop off at the hotel.

We loved to have acces at the swimming pool when it was too hot ! The room and the bathroom were great. The staff was really helpfull, we spend good time there.

Nothing

Our stay at Almor was definitely pleasant. The room was very nice, affordable and in a great location. Bathroom got a good shower too. Moreover Hana has been very helpful, always kind and easy to chat with.
