Joy and Norman were very welcoming hosts. Excellent communication before visiting. The house and room were beautiful. It was spacious, comfortable and met every need. An exceptional place to stay!

What a fabulous place, so many extra touches to make it an exceptionally enjoyable time. Welcomed with a cup of tea, fruit and baking in the room, very generous breakfast with fruit from the garden. Clean, fresh, private and oh so comfortable. Thanks Joy and Norm. The scale of 1-10 is not enough. I give it 13

A lovely place to stay. Beautifully kept room and bathroom and lovely to sit out on the veranda. Simple and good continental breakfast - Host very helpful and kind and gave us advice about visiting Christchurch and surrounding area.

"Excellent, excellent and exceptional."

We enjoyed everything about the property. Joy was very friendly and helpful and made you feel at home The facilities were excellent. Clean, comfortable and small things that made you welcome. The breakfast choice was plentiful and delicious.

There was nothing to dislike.

The location is nice, we had everything we needed. Joy was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good !

The only little thing is the breakfast table which is not very steady and can be a bit dangerous in the morning!
