Villa Jacaranda

Ajay and his staff were amazing and we had the best time there. The bedroom and house and garden were beautifully decorated and maintained and the breakfast was delicious. The shops and beach are only a few minutes walk away. Would definitely return.

We had an excellent stay. It is a very comfortable and peaceful location. A walk away from south cliff beach and easy to reach north cliff beach and the restaurants there too. The bed was comfortable, lots of nice touches like fresh flowers in the room, an excellent breakfast served on your own veranda and it was beautifully presented too. The host and staff are very attentive and we were well looked after. Would go back anytime.

From the moment you walk into Villa Jacaranda, your breath is taken away by the beauty of this home. Owner Ajay, our loving and beautiful host has created a magical space. Lush tropical gardens and greenery abound. Around each corner you will discover more joy and love, personally curated by Ajay with his lifelong collections of art and furniture. Our room on the top floor included a private terrace where you can sit overlooking the sun slipping into The Arabian Sea. We were treated to quite possibly the best Kerelan style meal we have ever had in the most romantic setting imaginable. The scene set with candlelight would be at home in a movie of the long ago Raj. Breakfast each morning presented with full tea service in gorgeous china and was magnificent. The staff were amazing and looked after our every desire. Villa Jacaranda is truly a special place and no visit to the area is complete without spending time here at the jewel in Varkarla’s crown.

Absolutely gorgeous! It was such a treat to stay here and everything about the place was so well thought out.

Lovely guest house overlooking the Arabian Sea- a real oasis. I stayed in Room 4 which has the whole of the top floor to itself and a lovely private, plant-filled roof terrace. Was there in the low season which I would not recommend as a lot of places were closed and work was being undertaken in the garden of the guest house, no evening meals, etc. Not ideal but didn’t take away from the charm of the place.

The cliff side bars and restaurants all felt a little worn out and the food was not great in any of the places I visited (I think it’s a surfer’s resort so perhaps not a priority to the target market)

Beautiful property, attentive and caring staff, facilities were comfortable and the owner Ajay has curated a fabulous stay. Me and my girlfriend felt very comfortable immediately and loved our stay.

Gorgeous location and surroundings, beautiful fruit and flowering trees with hummingbirds and other wildlife around. Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit salad and choice of eggs etc. Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Can't control the traffic, cars beep coming around corners for safety.

The whole experience was really good. The owner and the staff was very friendly. We had a quite nice time in the villa. It was so very well maintained. Loved the ambience and the garden. The bread was so good. . But i think it is okay... overall the stay was really really good.

Breakfast i would say was okayish. Nothing to complaint but on day 2 it will get a bit boring.

This is a quite amazing place. Located on the south cliff, it is quiet, but still close enough to restaurants and beach. The gardens and grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is exceptional. Most significantly, Ajay, the owner, is extremely helpful and hospitable.
