Stonewater House Vegan Bed and Breakfast

I liked everything about this place. Carol and Jules were amazing. The food was wonderful and we never finished the portions as they quite filling 🥧 and very tasty 😋 😋 😋

Lamlash is the perfect choice of village on Arran for exploring but also having a friendly welcoming base like Stonewater House made our weekend exceptional. Carol and Jules were brilliant hosts with an obvious passion for vegan food and great hospitality. The location of Stonewater House was perfect for the beach and local pubs with a beautiful view to Holy Isle. The rooms were spotless with a very comfortable large bed and great power shower.

Central location in Lamlash with plenty parking nearby. Fabulous breakfast menu and big portions. Bookcase in room. Great to have a fully vegan accomodation option.

Breakfast was absolutely mind blowing, beautiful, delicious and nutritious with an incredible selection of exceptional teas too! The room was absolutely lovely - Carol & Jules have thought of every detail down to beautiful ethical products, snacks and a fridge with oat milk in it. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. A beautiful spot overlooking Holy Island in lovely Lamlash - great location. Carol & Jules themselves were wonderful hosts. I truly hope we can return one day.

The breakfast that carol and jules put on was amazing me and my wife are not vegan but it was really amazing food carol and jules could not have been any nicer was always making sure u were ok if there was anything they could do

There wasn’t much we didnt like only thing I would say is that in the bedroom the curtains are not the greatest for keeping the sun out means you are awake very early in the morning I know some people don’t mind being up so early but 05:00 am is abit early lol

Stonewater House is the loveliest B&B we have ever stayed at. The breakfasts are every bit as delicious (and huge!) as others report and we appreciated the decadent selection of teas and coffees available with breakfast too. Our king room was very large and well-equipped with coffee and tea facilities, shower/tub (good water pressure!), toiletries, lots of coat hangers, radiator etc. We enjoyed the sea view. And the common room/balcony is lovely too - I wish we had had more time to peruse the extensive library! Carol and Jules are themselves perfect hosts, were flexible about our arrival time and made us feel very welcome, with tips about local food and attractions. We hope to come back, and wholeheartedly recommend Stonewater House to all comers!
