Achill View B&B

A good continental breakfast...and also could take whatever was left for a packed lunch..Great views from our room looking across Clew Bay towards Achill Island. Margaret was very friendly and warmly invited us into her family home.

Though a little dated..but nothing else really.

The breakfast was generous, as was the offer to provide take-away lunch. Staff were very obliging and keen to assist.

Room was smallish, though window seat provided useful storage space. The property is directly on the main road which is disguised by the photo in the booking system. The road is above the wall, not below it.

Very clean facility, and the breakfast were awesome!

Nothing

When we arrived we were told that our booking had been cancelled and there was no room for us. The booking was still open on our end and no cancelation had been made by us. So we had to find somewhere else to stay.

The Position: close to the Main Street.

Dusty, not clean, really cold. The water from the shower and the sync was brown. We have been told in that area is normal when there are lots of rainfalls. I wish we would have been informed prior to the booking. Wifi really bad. No possibility to pay with credit card. Again, that’s fine, but it would have been fair to be informed prior to our booking.
