Jozefin

Apartment located in the center of ancient Akkon. Rooms fit in old walls creating a special flair. Surprised us with a complementary bottle of wine.

Miki was so forthcoming in his explanations that, by the time I arrived at Jozefin, I was completely prepared for what I was going to experience. The surroundings are so authentic, so different from what I am used to and so welcoming! The room was extremely comfortable and the Jozefin complex in general is like a lovely little oasis in the middle of a bustling Middle Eastern Old City.

The location was perfect, it’s in the old town , beautiful

it was a pretty space and nicely decorated. there were 4 spaces to sleep.

this room is a separate entrance but connected to someone’s private home. I could hear the children - late night whistling toys, footsteps of a small child or children running (our ceiling, their floor) at very late hours (like 1 am). also the parking situation was not very clear. the owner told us where to park but when I asked if I had to pay for parking there (public lot) she said they don’t usually check. some guy scammed us into paying him because I wasn’t sure but he was not a legitimate he was just taking advantage because the parking was full. there was a nice Nescafé machine but no milk for the coffee. the 2 beds beside the big bed were thick cushions. when we set them up we were not able to walk the beds were all side by side. not a big deal for a night but just so you know the scale. also old Akko was more run down than I expected. I would recommend to the owner to put in some usb chargers.
