Good location for train and pleasant location.

House was dated and facilities 10yrs out of date. I have never had breakfast sat literally in the kitchen watching the host cook a pretty poor quality breakfast and then having to pretend to enjoy it in silence as it was just weird!

Clean and tidy safe environment with very helpful staff

It has parking and location was in a good area

The owner wasn’t the best to deal with and made it feel awkward upon arrival. We was charge 50% of the room price for my work colleague although I book a room with 3 beds and none of us were staying for breakfast. Explained we worked nights and would be there for a few hours tops. Asked can we cancel as didn’t want to pay the extras charge as the room cost 110 for the night which was very expensive for that room as the building needs updating and it’s a shared bathroom.

Spotlessly clean, spacious room, lovely people, comfortable and good breakfast 😊 Front door key so no issues with timing going out or coming back late Parking on-site but plenty on the road too Plenty of good places to eat, pubs etc

Elderly property so good character but also single glazing so some road traffic noise but quietens down at a decent time
