The Old Rectory

The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious. The garden was delightful and parking was relatively straightforward. The staff were very pleasant, courteous and helpful. I was able to extend my stay with the minimum of fuss and I was able to have an early breakfast when required.

I liked everything about it. A friend recommended the hotel, as her sister had stayed there. The place is a converted old rectory and is full of quirky charm; despite that, it is fully modern. Beautiful place. The room we stayed in was enormous and super comfortable. There was ample space to unpack; and the room was furnished with anything one might want for a long or short stay. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. I would happily return.

Bed and pillows uncomfortable, breakfast was weird I had the full English Black pudding and one the the sausages were not to my liking the beans were not normal bean awful, I only ate the bacon and egg and half the hash brown shower was long but really narrow entrance was i guess only 18inches and the shower head position glad im not a really big guy !
