Liwayway sa Bohol Pamilacan Resort

Quiet and friendly place. Business running by a family. Very large and comfortable rooms. Location is perfect. You have a coral reef garden just in front of the hotel. There are turtles and one of the most beautiful reefs I've ever seen. Delicious and eco dishes. The staff will help you to get to the Island from Bohol and get back. Just contact them. Friendly dogs around so take a dog food with you. On Bohol you can buy it at 7 Eleven. Here on the Island there is no chance to buy it.

This is an incredible nice place to stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. This is the perfect place to come to and enjoy life on this beautiful island. During the day you can go snorkelling in the beautiful coral garden and at night you can watch an incredible night sky.

Fantastic host Ivy and all other staff very friendly and helpful. Great location and a clean spacious room. Food quality very good but a little expensive. Extended our stay by one night. Hire a boat with guide to see the turtles and corals...recommended

No air conditioning and no running water in the room. Water is supplied in containers brought across from Bohol. The mosquitos love a room with no AC so be aware!

I loved my 4 night stay at Liwayway Sa Bohol and wish I could have stayed even longer! People - the staff and the local people in the village - here are so sweet and the location in the tiny island of Pamilacan absolutely wonderful. My room had a terrace and view of the sea; it was spacious, clean and comfortable. Warm welcome by Ivy at the reception. Food cooked by lovely Gaga and the kitchen team was delicious. The owner, Elvira, is environmentally aware and offered many interesting conversations and local recommendations for my onward travel. I also loved the skillful massages by Gina and highly recommend her. This is the perfect, natural place for those who appreciate peace and simple pleasures of being outside in the nature, enjoying the ocean and listening to the sea and seeing stars at night.

For me this place was ideal. Other guests may want to consider the fact that this is a quiet, simple place with limited water resources - there is no running water, so you will wash with a scoop from a bucket instead. Please be mindful that they have to bring the fresh washing water from the mainland, so use it sparingly!

Lovely and quiet

We had such a wonderful stay at Liwayway. Comfortable room, tasty food and overall very welcoming staff. We only stayed 2 nights, but wished we would have stayed longer. Pamilacan is the perfect place to unwind, with paradisiac beaches and local feeling.

Nothing.

The place is unique, and we will always conserve our best memories here. However, it requires some spirit of adaptation, since in dry times, there is no running water, and you will have to use a tank of water for everything. Also the rooms and cottages are really nice as they are built in their traditional way. Be aware however that there will be other living animals inside the room given the open spaces in the hut (there is a mosquito net on the bed ). So, expect to adapt to slow island conditions, and you will be rewarded with an amazing experience. We guarantee that this resort is the best in the island. I give "only" 8 because I think the shower system with the tank can be improved in the bathroom to save water, and also we had some misunderstandings on the first night and for this reason we didn't shower on the first night.
