The location is probably the best value of this property. It's near the harbour and the train station, as well as next to the old town. Overall, a very convenient spot. The hosts were friendly.

The room is quite small (not sure if the area really is what the description says) and very minimally decorated (basically just walls). There is no sound insulation. For breakfast, you have to go to a cafe nearby, it's not that far, but it would be nice to have at least a kettle for hot water inside the premises, but we did not see any and there is no common area at all, just separate rooms. Not that I was expecting a boutique design hotel, but some cosiness would be appreciated.

The location with proximity to train was great. It was up the hill a little bit off the main shopping street, an easy walk with luggage in what appeared to me to be an affluent neighborhood. At first impression the room was basic but with attention to detail such as modern upgrades to everything, such as new hardware in bathroom, new shower with nice touches such as shower head, great towels, very good windows easy to open for fresh air and double glass for silence and top security. The bed was wonderful, hard mattress and perfectly sized pillows with lovely sheets and nice comfortable blanket. There was adequate convenient area to hang your clothes and place luggage pieces for easy access. Room temperature I believe was automatic and set at comfortable level with enough heat during the night. The included breakfast you do not receive in your room but instead a voucher. The cafe was upscale a short 2 block walk where you can retrieve a coffee of your choice and dolce. It was located in the main shopping street and a nice place to drink your coffee inside or out. Also a nice place to have an appertivo in the evening with a good people watching factor. Excellent restaurants all within walking distance and a nice shortcut going through the hills to the Centro Storico where it is a wonderland to see at night, particularity the churches. Walking home late at night through the hills was safe with young people or locals on the streets.

The property was clean the room immaculate except for small area of built up grime only on the bottom part of the foldable shower door, inside and out, that I’m sure will be cleaned now that I mentioned it.

Very nice and clean room near the city center. The host is extremely friendly and helpful.

For me it was too loud at night.

That we only managed to stay one night in Salerno!

The room was very nice with all the necessary things you need for a 4 nights stay. The location is very good, close to the city centre, walking distance from the train station, bus station and from the port. The place where you eat breakfast is close and opens from 7 am. The owners were very polite, helpful and respectful. The room cleaning was perfect. P.S. We were mainly in Amalfi coast, but the city of Salerno is a really beautiful seaside city.

A coffee and a croissant is what many Italians have for breakfast but international visitors may find this too poor.
