Lovely friendly couple, breakfast was fab.

Our room was warm, clean and very comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided.

Smallbrook Cottage was easy to find and had parking whic was great. We received instruction on how to get in if the host was out. The room was perfect and nice and warm with good facitilities. The hosts were very friendly and gave us tips of where to go other that Broadway if we ran out of shops (which we did). We went to Snows Hill and Chipping Campden on their recommendation, both of which were lovely. Tea and coffee were provided in the room and even a jar of choc chip cookies which were appreciated. Breakfast was bountiful.

There were only a couple of things to mention and this is being really picky and hopefully taken as constructive criticism! The accommodation is approximately a 20 min walk to the centre (no surprise of course) and there is a street lamp lit walk if you want to do it. We ended up driving in for our evening meal both nights. Not sure if there is a local taxi firm but if there is a mention of it could have been good? The only other thing was the lack of vegetarian sausages for the cooked breakfast offer. As these can be just kept in a freezer (and so no waste) I find it surprising that hotels and B&B's often don't offer them in this day and age. Smallbrook is one of many establishments that didn't cater for this - the host did offer to go and buy some but this didn't materialise. However, I'm sure if I had been more forceful about it (which I wasn't) that they would have gone to buy them, and I have to say the continental breakfast was plentiful and very nice.

Nice location, clean, great facilities

Everything about the stay at Smallbrook Cottage was excellent. Lovely owners (and their lovely dogs) great choices for breakfast and comfortable accommodation. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
