"Spacious farmhouse apartment."

Large spacious room. Comfortable bed. Warm and clean. WiFi and TV. Tea/coffee/sugar and milk provided; dining table for two and storage space. Large bathroom with good shower. Country location. Generally quiet. Easy check-in.

Rooms were up a steep staircase. Couldn't open the bedroom window. My wife would have preferred a brighter bedside light for reading. Some noise from the heating and water systems, but maybe to be expected as house is quite old; though it wasn't overly intrusive.

My expectation was a pleasant farmhouse room. What I found was more like an apartment with own front door. Host was very welcoming but not intrusive. Breakfast matched my requirement. On long journeys, I try to find somewhere interesting to visit. This was very convenient for the Tank Museum.

Requirement fully met.
