Bunratty Castle Mews B&B

Breakfast was good considering they had had a power outage.

Room was very small

The B&B was clean, quiet, and the staff was kind.

The location is very convenient to two great pubs and Bunratty Castle. Only 9 miles from Shannon airport. The place is very clean and well appointed and the breakfast is excellent. Delores runs a great facility

A little pricey

The hostess was delightful: friendly, personable, informative and a bundle of energy. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the traditional cooked Irish breakfast, with farm-fresh eggs plus so many other options (fresh baked breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, fruit, yogurt, and more). Our room had all the basic provisions. A refrigerator was available. The location was great, just a 5 minute drive into town. A bonus: we met a delightful couple from NYC while enjoying our coffee one sunny morning on the patio.

Our room was small. It was a little crowded with an extra twin bed we didn't need. Although it was advertised as walkable into town, the narrow road had no shoulder so it didn't seem that safe.

Gary and Dolores are wonderful owners and managers of this B&B. The rooms are charming and not a thing has not been thought of. The breakfast is phenomenal and was the best we had in all of Ireland! Stay here if you can!
