Breakfast was great and the staff so helpful

The room was small but really lovely. Great view over the bay and a clean and functional bathroom. Everything worked as it should (tv etc). Breakfast was excellent - the best so far on our trip. Very happy.

access from the rear parking spaces was a little tricky with cases etc.

Location was perfect for walking into St Ives. Beautiful view over the beach opposite both from the room and at breakfast. Lovely breakfast and pleasant staff.

We did have a 40 minute wait for our breakfast but with a view that good it was less of an issue and the it was worth waiting for….

The location was good. The quality of the property, the service provided and the food were all outstanding.

A very minor point. We found the music in the dining room irritating. Just not our choice.

The building is charming and our room had a view of the bay. The breakfast was very good.

Beware of the half-bottle of wine on the sideboard. I thought it was complimentary as there were 2 glasses next to it and no price affixed, and after all, it was only a half bottle. I was quite shocked when I was told that we had consumed £22 worth of wine. The morning after, I pointed out to the receptionist that, to all intents and purposes, the wine looked complimentary, so she phoned somebody in management to explain my frustration. They billed me nonetheless, as the management deemed that the price of the wine appeared somewhere in the menu. My suggestion is that in future, a price tag is put on the bottle to avoid any confusion. The hotel was good, but the wine left a bitter taste.

Close to the beach and town. The staff couldn’t have done anymore to make our stay pleasurable
