Paco's Garden Home Stay

the location is quiet, very homey, relaxing, and close to nature. Lando, the staff, is very friendly, accommodating, helpful and always ready to give assistance. he even cooked a nice chicken dish for us. the villa is equipped with kitchen utensils, plates, spoons & forks, gas stove & electric kettle. the property has a mini bar, so we enjoyed our nights in the safety of the property. overall, our stay was great!

it’s a little bit far from the main road, if you don’t have a car, it’s quite an exercise going to the main thoroughfare. we rented a car, so it was not a problem for us. the only problem was the landscaping did not include a driveway, so we just drove around the plants and trees to park in fromt of our villa.

Safety and security from outside animals. Stray dogs came and ruined my sandals. I left the place barefoot ☹️☹️.

Our stay in Camiguin was made exceptional by the wonderful accommodation we found. The space itself was spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. Thank you for the extra bed it was big for one person. But what truly set this place apart was Lando's incredible hospitality. He's a genuinely down-to-earth person who went above and beyond to help us, even assisting with our luggage and providing transportation to our destination. We were looking for bukos and he gave us. Lando, along with Paco, also gave us a fantastic tour of the island, sharing their knowledge and making the experience both informative and enjoyable. We learned so much about Camiguin's history and culture thanks to them. Lando, you deserve all the praise – thank you for your time and effort!

We did find that while the ceiling fan was helpful, an additional stand fan would have been preferable. We much prefer electric fans to air conditioning, and a supplemental fan would have ensured optimal comfort. Also, we did experience some noise from a neighbor's karaoke, which was quite loud at times. However, these are minor points and overall, we would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Camiguin. It's a gem!

Loved that it's in a quiet area of the capital town though not too far from the airport, the Gaisano mall, and other tourist attractions in Camiguin (even those tourist spots outside Mambajao). The neighbors are friendly, and they happen to be the caretakers of the villas too. They did our laundry for a minimal fee. The owners of the villa are accommodating, considerate, and nice they let us rent there small car.

We were placed in a bigger room than what we originally booked but the air conditioner was not working well, so we're thankful for the electric fan that was provided. There's no TV due to some issues (damaged by the previous renter), and rice cooker was not readily available so I had to chat the caretaker to lend us a rice cooker since we're Filipinos and loves to eat rice every meal.

Paco's Garden exceeded our expectations. Aisa and Lando who manage the property are AMAZING, Wonderful, Kind, and Helpful. Paco's Garden is serene and beautiful with a lovely view of the mountainside. Great environment and accommodations. Thank you!
