Location was great!

Quite a lot of bugs, lizards, spiders etc but that’s expected in the area

The family was very nice, welcoming and helpful. They made us great and tasty breakfast, including a big fruit plate! The accomodation was very basic but clean and tidy. There was only a bed (clean, neat and comfortable) and a little table. Beautiful beach was 10 minutes by walk with kids. If you look for a place just to sleep at for a good price and want to support a local family go for it :)

The staff and owners couldn’t have done enough for us. They were so friendly and helpful and really made our stay at Hirekitya amazing. The beach is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the staff also provide tuk tuk and taxi services.

The room is about a 15min walk from the “downtown” hub. Plenty of shops and restaurants. Upul (owner) was kind enough to drive me around. He was accommodating in my stay.

I have stayed at Hiriketiya White House multiple times - it's such a great option if you would like some peaceful quiet a short walk away from the bustle of Hiriketiya and the beach. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach you can also have quiet naps with just the sound of the birds and trees (or if you're lucky a rainstorm). The team are friendly and accommodating to ensure you have a comfortable stay.
