The property has a nice pool and view overlooking the beach

- You will find out when you arrive to this property that it’s actually a hostel and not a hotel as advertised so expect hostel quality service and not hotel service. This is not mentioned on booking or even on any website online so we were very surprised we were paying this price for a hostel where we could have just stayed in Selina for less than half the price and right at the beach! - During breakfast time, there are only 2-3 places to sit and have breakfast, so chances are high for not finding place during breakfast and you will end up waiting for others to finish not only eating but also taking a nap after on the breakfast couches which is highly unprofessional from the hotel staff to not let them know that other guests need to eat too. - Our breakfast arrived with dirty dishes that were not washed and had avocado residue on them from the previous people, not to mention the hair as well and the manager started giving us excuses instead of offering anything to make up for it and not even an apology knowing that we had some medical conditions as well. - we found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom but that was just bad luck and can happen anywhere in Peru - only when I started complaining to booking about the situation, the hotel manager talked to me and apologized and asked if she can offer us anything to make us happy in our stay and mentioned she will be happy to offer us a 1 night refund. Until today, this hostel failed to issue us a 1 night refund and now they let me know through booking that they will only offer us a discount for our next stay. That deal would be fair only if this place was an international chain and its clear they’re trying to back off their offer but its my duty as a reviewer to warn others before booking at this place

Beautiful and well maintained property. Staff can easily be reached and are always ready to help.

Upgrading the shower would be a nice plus as it’s getting old and difficult to find the right temperature.

The pool and views are nice.

Access was difficult and not well lit at night. The rooms could be cleaner and better maintained. The shower head did not work well. There are a lot of cats. No television.

- Comfortable room with big bed - quiet outdoor space - good location, 10 minutes walk from the center and 5 to the beach

- Limited breakfast options, no cheese, ham or jogurt to mix the granola that is served - Pool should be cleaner - There is only one person working on the property (cleaning and cooking lady) so there isn’t actual cleaning of the room, just taking out the trash, no towels were changed during our 5 days stay - Only one soap for hair, body and hands - Property is listed as not pet friendly but there are 3-4 cats living on the property - Maintenance work during the morning / day From the previous comments we saw there was no hair dryer so we were hoping that would be fixed. Upon checking in, we asked the manager if hey had one and the answer was they had it before but it’s on a service now and it will not be fixed until next season. It was disappointing to receive that answer and lack of enthusiasm from a manager, that is the only person you talk with during your stay. It takes one day to fix it or simply buy a new one. It is also a bit weird having a manager sitting all the day outside of the swimming pool, on a main desk, working on a laptop and taking some of the privacy from the guests. Overall, staff was uninterested and lacking information. This kind of property should be better maintained and equipped for the pictures to reflect reality. There are some positive sides of the property, but it’s not worth the money. There are many better options nearby of a greater quality for the same price.

What a stunning location honestly this little slice of heaven was amazing and absolutely stunning. The breakfast options were basic but you can add extras and massages are available here which I recommend the venue itself is stunning and perfect for a little time tucked away in paradise. You have everything you need here and the town is only a walk away. If you're looking for a picturesque paradise then look no further

The hill 🤣😂 the entrance to this place is a little out of the way which is fine and almost welcomed to be tucked away from the chaos of the party life but a word of caution the tuk tuks struggle to make it up the hill which did nothing but provided me and my friend entertainment as we struggled up it but it does mean that sometimes you have to walk it but a taxi service provided by the hotel should be fine to bring your bags back from the airport by no means a deal breaker for what meets you at the top of the hill

It’s absolutely a little paradise. The walk to the hotel and beach are really short and the hill is not that bad. We loved the surroundings and the room is absolutely amazing.

- breakfast serves granola without any yoghurt our milk, this is very dry. - a new shower head could make a big difference - I would really expect a hair dryer at a hotel like this
