A simple pleasure, great location, clean, lovely breakfast and Sylvia was a pleasure to deal with.

honestly this place is quite dissapointing. The positive things I could mention - indoor parking if it is useful for you. And the host is quite friendly and helps to find a place

Quite frankly in terms of what BnB stays for we got nothing of that.. First of all - be aware that the Bar downthere works until 1 -2am and the host says even glasses trembling from it's sounds. I don't know the reason we were told that at the end of stay.. may be she used to it and thinks it it is ok. But it is not. I missed a sunrise I came to photograph at Pine Island becouse I was absolutely not rested.. I was politely quiet, but her "magic bed" comment made me explode.. The breakfast that called continental - Is.. not a breakfast at all.. It is mor like "grab a bite" before real breakfast. And all the snacks you can buy in a nearest Lidl I believe. Even If not think of that - there were nothing to choose from and not even enough. Check a photo.. Just one salamy slices blister near 100gramm for two people as a meat. The worst thing.. host cooked something realy supposed to be a breakfast right before we come. I said "smells delicious" and she didn't answer. I swear she ate simultaneously in a closest room something fried and not vegan.. The bed linen is a nightmare.. it is what we met before only in hostels. Cheap old, not clear how and when washed with pilling and a few hairs.. The window is old wooden with a broken lock. May be it is not clear for the host but it is a cause why sound is so loud inside and why it is so cold in a room. You can see a photo a lock locks nothing it is just decoration. Also you can see how clean is a window.. may be to offer a stay it would be good to start with replacing windows for modern plastic soundproof and energy saving.. Dust everywhere. I moved the nightstand so I wouldn’t snag the chargers and was badly surprised what I will breath all the night. We were asked to take off shoes, but there not even a bench and shoehorn, I was forsced to squat and use my pocket horn, thanks I'm young enough.. but she didn't even react on that.

Bedroom door is very squeaky. The toilet-paper holder fell apart when we were using it

I really enjoyed my stay at Silvia's place. The room was very spacious and the en-suite bathroom was clean and tidy! I really felt like I was staying at my grandma's :-) The breakfast was also very good and I had everything I needed to get ready for the day (hiking & cycling). The location is very convenient as it is in the very centre of Clifden. But the thing I appreciated the most was Silvia's kindness. She is a very smiling and helpful host and I would totally recommend to stay at her place! Thank you Silvia!

Everything was perfect ! From the room to the breakfast

We were here during storm Eowyn and the host went above and beyond to make it as comfortable for us as possible for the time we were missing electricity and water. The place was super clean and had everything we needed. Great for the price and in the centre of Clifden close to everything it has to offer.
