Villa Della Stua

Our stay was excellent. The property is beautiful, designed in a charming traditional Italian style, with a spacious garden surrounding the house. Our room was also lovely—we truly felt like royalty. The host, Irina, was wonderful and incredibly kind. Every morning, she prepared an exceptional breakfast and served us delicious coffee in the garden. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Perfect place to stay in Cormons. Beautiful and charming villa and room, really comfortable and clean with a lot of character and quiet, relaxing garden. Irina and Arnica are lovely hosts, very welcoming and hospitable. Exceptional breakfast, full of high quality local products and homemade treats.

Everything was perfect!

Our stay at Villa Della Stua was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, Irina, the wonderful host, made us feel right at home. She was so warm and welcoming, and we were greeted each morning by her sweet dog, Annika, who quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. We loved starting our day by giving her a friendly pat after breakfast. The villa itself was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. Every detail seemed well thought out, and we especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere created by Irina’s wood-burning stove. It gave the place such a charming, rustic feel, perfect before a day of exploring. Speaking of breakfasts, they were fantastic! Irina prepared a variety of delicious options every morning, and we always looked forward to seeing what she’d set out. Her local knowledge was invaluable too—she gave us the best recommendations for places to visit, dine, and explore nearby, which made our trip even more special. If you’re looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay in Italy, Villa Della Stua is truly a gem. We can’t recommend it enough and can’t wait to return one day!

Absolutely incredible! The antique villa with the huge fireplace and beautiful garden - we felt like Counts! Irina is a host like no other, so kind and cool, careful and fun. And just a short walk away there are splendid very retro tavernas, with authentic locals and great food. And wine! Cormons is so enjoyable, worth a detour from the more famous cities nearby. 20/10 on our scale of loveliness.

Location is fantastic, center of the town, but you are surrounded by garden, by nature.

1. Lovely big house with a large garden. Perfect on an evening with a glass of wine & (for me) a cigar. 2. Quiet … a good nights sleep. 3. Breakfast was an incredible spread of mainly home made cakes, biscuits, local cheese, cold meats + pancake cooked on an open fire. 4. Irina, the host, nothing was too much trouble. Her enthusiasm for the area infectious.

The house is very beautiful,located in the centre of Cormons, but very quiet. Irina is great host, very friendly, helpful, she gave us great tips what to see, where to go. And she prepares rich, tasty breakfast.

Irina is a sweetheart and a great cook. Breakfast was a real joy, chatting with Irina, learning about the local food traditions and eating the wonderful food.

We ran into noise due to the wine festival going on that weekend. Not Irina’s fault; in fact 355 days of the year you probably don’t hear a thing. The festival was kind of neat, closer to a country fair than a wine extravaganza.
