La Terrazza

Nice, clean room, very central yet quiet location, best breakfast in Sardinia and very helpful and present owner, with vast knowledge of local territory and practical tips about things to do in the region. We appreciated a lot that we could leave our luggage after check out and enjoy carefree our last day on the beach.

zentrale Lage nur 2 Schritte zur historischen Altstadt, in einer ruhigen Strasse. Aufzug im Haus. Sehr geräumiges ansprechend ausgestattetes Zimmer mit Balkon und schönem Bad mit Fenster. La Terrazza bietet drei Zimmer im B&B an. Großer Salon mit Tisch und Küchenzeile mit Fach im Kühlschrank. Dadurch das der Kühlschrank sich nicht im Zimmer sondern in der Wohnungsküche befand, war es nachts auch endlich mal ruhig im Zimmer und mein Schlaf wurde nicht durch störende Motorgeräusche gestört. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Inhaber Alberto empfing mich zum Check-In und bot ein Getränk an. Er informierte über den Ort und Umgebung, hatte sogar Karten da und diese auch markiert. Dazu hat er ein mehrseitiges Hand-out in Italienisch und Englisch vorbereitet, die historische Altstadt, Strände, Restaurants etc. alles kurz erläutert. Soviel Information bestens vorbereitet ! - das war einzig artig. Sonnenschirme standen in meinem Zimmer und es gab auch 2 Fahrräder zur Benutzung. Leider war mein Aufenthalt nur 2 Nächte, hier hätte ich gut mehr Zeit verbringen können. Absolut ruhig war das Zimmer, weder Strassengeräusche noch vom Nachbarzimmer war etwas zu hören. Wer es gerne dunkel mag, die großen Fenster zum Balkon hatten elektrische Außenrollos.

Camera e bagno molto spaziosi, balcone con un piccolo stendino che ci faceva molto comodo. La camera si trova dentro un appartamento per cui c'è la possibilità di usare la cucina per riscaldare del cibo o per farsi un tè o un caffè. Veniva esplicitato che non si può cucinare però. Ne abbiamo approfittato per fare la nostra colazione sulla terrazza comune. Ci ha fatto piacere trovare i vari contenitori per poter fare la raccolta differenziata anche in vacanza. Il centro è vicinissimo, dietro l'angolo c'è un Eurospar con un grandissimo reparto gastronomia.

Nello spazio comune c'erano delle essenze profumate fortissime che erano abbastanza nauseanti tant'è che le abbiamo messe sulla terrazza perché l'odore si diffondeva fino in camera nostra. Sarebbe meglio evitare profumi forti ed eventualmente scegliere essenze naturali.

The breakfast, served on the terrace , was excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice, cereals, fruits and nuts, eggs, variety of breads and delicious coffee. Our room, #3,opened directly on to a large terrace. There are screens On the doors to the terrace if needed. Alberto gave us many useful suggestions about sites to see. The parking was off street a few houses down from the BnB and easy to get in and out of. The view over the Duomo from the terrace as the sun set was wonderful.
