Quixhill - Denstone - Dove Meadow B & B

Unfortunately we only had one night at Dove meadow. It was comfortable clean and the staff were lovely.

The hosts were wonderful, friendly and breakfast was fab. Great for vegetarians and so close to Alton Towers.

We stayed in the family chalet which was much bigger than I expected and full of little extras to make a very comfortable stay with board games, DVDs, everything needed to cook, a good sized fridge with freezer compartment that we used to freeze water for our day trip. Also a welcome pack in the fridge which was very much appreciated as our journey had been delayed. Communication was excellent and the full English breakfast was lovely, they even made our girls American pancakes with nutella and strawberries and cream which they loved. We had a 2 night stay to visit Alton Towers which was just 10 mins away. Fluffy towels, comfortable bed and bedding and a lovely hot shower. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had our own private door for outside, plenty of plugs and lovely quality towels and comfy beds. Smart TV too which is a bonus and lovely breakfast!

I stayed at Dove Meadow with my two young daughters (ages 6 and 2) for two nights in the self-contained annexe – and I genuinely can't recommend it highly enough. The property was absolutely spotless and beautifully kept. Everything we needed was there, and the attention to detail made it feel like a real home away from home. Breakfast was delicious and a lovely touch each morning. What truly made the stay exceptional, though, were the hosts. After a stressful car accident on our way there, they welcomed us with such warmth and kindness – we felt immediately at ease. To top it off, they even offered to drive us to Alton Towers the next morning since we were left without a car. That level of generosity and care is rare and deeply appreciated. Dove Meadow is a peaceful, comfortable gem in a gorgeous location. If you're visiting the area – especially with little ones – this is the perfect spot. Faultless in every way

Everything! The breakfast, the accommodation, the hosts...everything was far better than we'd hoped. The kids loved playing with their dog who is absolutely amazing with kids and honestly, everything was beyond perfect! Fantastic location for alton towers and amazing value for money
