The host family was incredibly calm, kind, and welcomed us with such genuine hospitality. The room was spacious, spotless, and very well-organized; the air conditioning and mosquito net were so comfortable that we had a wonderful sleep. For breakfast, we enjoyed hoppers, bananas from their garden, fresh pineapple, an fried egg and a rich cup of Ceylon tea—all while looking out at their beautiful garden. Sigiriya Rock is just a 30-minute walk away. It was such a perfect stay, I have absolutely no complaints.
