Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay as it was within walking distance (~20 min) to Sigiriya rock, they offered a tuktuk ride to Pidurangala for sunrise and the breakfast was delicious. The family owning the place is very sweet and have excellent food in their restaurant next door (Ceylon hut).

Unfortunately our A/C broke down and it could not be fixed during our stay (not the owners fault of course), but we would have appreciated a bit more effort to ensure we were still comfortable. We got an extra fan which helped but we had to ask for it ourselves. The tuktuk was also 15 min late when we had agreed on a time from Pidurangala. However these are small things, overall a good stay.

Nature around

There was humility on the wall of the room and insects 🕷️ 🐞 🐜 in the room. At 10:25 am the owner was nocking on the door asking if I was leaving soon.

Nette kleine Unterkunft. Sehr freundliche Familie. Die erste, die uns nicht direkt was aufquatschen wollte und uns nur ihr Angebot und Möglichkeiten im Ort aufgezeigt hat. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr weit oben und der Aufstieg vor allem mit Gepäck ist sehr anstrengend; aber lohnenswert.

- Kein warm Wasser zum duschen.
