Historic Center Suite

The location is superb, in the middle of the old centre, at convenient walking distance from the train station (how we arrived) and the ferry port (how we departed). The rooftop terrace is spectacular and a definite added bonus to an otherwise quite basic room; even though during our stay, it was too hot to truly appreciate it. The bed is really comfortable.

Overall, the room was more basic than I had expected. The bathroom needs some maintenance (loose toilet seat, loose bidet tap, half of the openings of the rainwater shower head were clogged). There was a WiFi disruption, and we could not get any Internet during our stay. Initial communication with the host about this led to more frustration instead of feeling heard (this miscommunication was solved afterwards after we had checked out). Small details like the tiny towels that were provided as the only towels, combined with the initial miscommunication, did not make us feel very welcome.

The location is absolutely superb in every respect. The air conditioner was wonderful as was the little outside area. Also enjoyed having the little fridge in the room. It was comfortable, convenient and the staff and owner were great.

A bigger bath mat in the bathroom would be good. A bin, kettle and mugs in the room with tea would be nice. More toilet paper. But I did get a kettle and mugs from one of the ladies.

Very comfortable suite, big and comfortable room, absolutely clean, big and comfortable bed and cozy bed linen set, convenient bathroom, AC, super location in the heart of the city center close to everything, huge terrace with comfortable chairs, 10 minutes’ walk from bus stop on central square.

Location was good.

The word ‘de Luxe’ would indicate that the toilet seat fits well! The water from the wash basin exits ok! That the staff enquire at some point in 3 days if fresh towels or toilet paper are required.

issues with adapters for plugs and the boiler failed once, which meant no hot water, however when we contacted the Management, these issues were resolved very quickly, excellent communication

Excellent location - in the middle of the central street. The room and the terrace are very big.

There are sounds at night - not only from the refrigerator, but also from some tubes coming? Nevertheless - taking into account the price and the location, three are minors and the only recommendation is to take ear plugs.
