Villa Almoezia Charming B&B

Sebastian was an absolute joy! Quirky decor and cool grounds. Great breakfast (but you have to pay for it). Amazing views.

No hot water (was told it was heated by solar, but there was no sun). No coffee maker in room. It was a windy, tight road to get to, which is fine but on a map it looks like it is right off the highway

The views are stunning as is the whole property. It felt like a little oasis in the hills. Doesn’t take long to walk down to Taormina. Sebastiano was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we could need. The cats were also very cute and friendly. Unfourtunately it rained so we couldn’t enjoy the pool and gardens like we fully intended.

Die gesamte Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend modernisiert werden. Wer ein absoluter Naturfan ist, fühlt sich in der ökologisch unbearbeiteten Anlage wohl. War nicht unser Stil. Der Pool lud nicht zum Entspannen ein. WLAN Empfang gab es nur schwach auf der Terrasse, im sehr kleinen, dunklen Zimmer gar nicht.

Sebastiano est un hôte très accueillant et sympathique. Le B&B offre une vue splendide, idéale pour ceux qui apprécient les levers et couchers de soleil. L'emplacement est parfait : vous pouvez facilement rejoindre le centre à pied ou prendre le bus.

La rue est assez étroite et peu pratique pour se garer.

Wir haben eine Unterkunft in Taormina gesucht, die trotzdem ruhig liegt - genau das haben wir hier gefunden! Die Villa liegt oberhalb des Ortes, daher fern vom Trubel. Über ein Treppe (ca. 500 Stufen) kommt man zu Fuß in den Ort und hat dabei einen tollen Blick auf Taormina. Die Villa liegt traumhaft schön. Die Terrassen und der kleine Pool bieten einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Bucht. Die Zimmer sind eher klein und etwas dunkel, aber da man ohnehin fast nur draußen ist, hat das nicht gestört. Das Frühstück auf der großen Terrasse ist einfach, aber mit Liebe gemacht (keine Fertigprodukte). Das beste aber ist der überaus gastfreundliche Besitzer Sebastiano. Er hat uns bereits bei unserer Ankunft auf der Straße erwartet und hat uns viel über das Haus und die Gegend erzählt. Parken kann man an der Straße. In der Straße gibt es auch eine Bar und ein gutes Restaurant, so dass man nicht unbedingt den "Abstieg" nach Taormina machen muss.

The stunning views from the terrace! Sebastian the host was so friendly and helpful and always around if needed. The fridge filled with cold beer and wine (pay at the end) in the terrace kitchen was a real plus for a quiet drink enjoying the views. Steps down to Taormina were fine but getting back there is a bus or taxi to get home.

Shower was not very warm Swimming pool looked ok but was a very tangled overgrown path to get there.
