Villa Almoezia Charming B&B

Beautiful villa overlooking the ocean. Traditioal Sicilian decor. The bathrooms were up to date with excellent shower. Hand held, body jets and rain shower. So nice after a day out in the sun. Breakfast was excellent. I willcome back.

It is a bit of a walk to the center of down. I personally enjoyed getting in all my steps. There is a bus 100 ft away if you prefer.

Sebastiano is extremely, helpful and genuine. The villa is walking distance to Taormina, however it is worth noting it is down many steps very easy on the way down, but not so much on the way back, however there is a bus which stops very close to the villa. The villa is also very accessible and easy to get around by bus. The views from the villa are simply stunning.

The Wifi was hard to connect to from the bedroom and the facilities are not modern but it added to the charm, just worth noting as it may not be for everyone. We felt it added to the charm and loved it.

Fist of all! Sebastiano, is an amazing host! He was in contact with us before our arrival, just to make sure everything went smoothly. Maybe it was a small detail but he remembered everyone’s name, this makes it more personal! Something I cannot forget is the VIEW!!! WAUW! Breath taking! Also the hike towards the town is amazing, it’s with stairs and amazing views. The breakfast was also nice! I would truly recommend this stay to everyone

This place was such a hidden gem! The house is super clean and full of authentic charm. Both from inside the house and while relaxing in the pool, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the mountains and the beaches of Taormina, absolutely unforgettable. The large garden is a bit wild, but that only adds to the natural charm, we loved picking fresh fruits straight from the trees! If you enjoy nature, peace and amazing views, this is the perfect spot. The host was extremely kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would definitely recommended it!

Now that I’m back home and settled, I can leave a review, and I am pleased to say that I had an amazing stay here. I would love to return. Everything was great. I love the style of the property, I found it quite cozy. I love the view and the fresh air. Very friendly accommodating staff even willing to make breakfast for you. I have no complaints only a thank you.

Really dreamy location on the top of the mountain with a spectacular panoramic view and really great hospitality.

A great welcome from our fabulous helpful host Sebastiano. Parking was difficult due to some roadworks so he ran me round to a parking space and brought me back in his car. Super room and good shower, comfy bed. Stunning panoramic views. Limited but good breakfast, omelette, salami, cheese, coffee, bread and homemade cake. There is a fridge in the room so you can take a bottle of wine from the honesty bar (very drinkable at 6 euros a bottle!) to sup by the pool which is glorious. Rustic rambling garden on a cliff with an abundance of fruits. There is a restaurant nearby which was good, and a little bar at the top of the steps into town where you can watch the sunset (and watch Etna throw up a night eruption which we were lucky enough to do). The steps into town are lovely/scenic and not steep going down but there are a lot, and not for the faint hearted coming back up. There is a bus that runs (last one comes back around 19.30) or taxi from the main square (20 euros) at night. Don't try taking the car into the town!

Lack of parking but always a nightmare in these hilltop towns! A kettle in the room and cups for early cuppa in the morning or late herbal tea at night...

The views were stunning from our room & the breakfast terrace. The pool location & views also amazing!!! Owner/Manager- Sebastiano was VERY friendly, helpful and accomodating!

Amazing atmosphere, spectacular views, and great host Seba, we couldn’t ask for more. Happy to come back next time!
