Linda was an excellent host - kind, helpful, but not over the top. All facilities (rooms, beds, bathrooms, communal areas) were at a great standard and very clean. Breakfast was delicious.

Beautifully restored 1910 Homestead with amazing attention to detail. The gardens were lovely to walk round and full of birdsong. We really loved the hosts - they made us feel really welcome and we shared common interests. Our room was cosy and comfortable and the lounge area was beautifully decorated with a large flat screen TV, period furniture and a kitchenette. The chandeliers and ornate ceiling rose are a work of art and it is easy to see that this room used to be the ballroom - it even had a wee stage. We had a wonderful stay.

Really good place to stay. We only had an overnight staying to break the journey heading north - but excellent choice.
