Sun Set Sea Family House

The family were lovely and so welcoming. We first booked the fan room but they were happy for us to move into the AC room when we asked. They also let us rent their scooter from them!

Great value for money! The staff was super friendly—honestly one of the highlights of the stay. The place was clean, the ceiling fan worked perfectly, and the location was excellent: just a few steps from the beach and about 15–20 minutes walking along the shore to reach the restaurants. I’d definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved my stay here. The hosts were so sweet and helpful during my stay. The bed is comfy, good ac and private bathroom. Walking distance to the beach where I was able to surf. A huge thank you to the hosts for staying up and letting me check in at 2am as well!!!!!!! Such great value for money

This place is just awesome and we enjoyed so much staying here! First of all the family owning the place is super friendly and we truly felt at home here. They even gave us bicycles for free everyday to cruise around! The garden is really beautiful and has an open kitchen including a fridge. The rooms are very clean and the bed is comfortable. Planned on staying for 2 nights but extended to over a week here as we felt there couldn't be a better place for that price. Big recommendation!!

I had such an amazing stay at this place, I stayed 3 nighs in total. The family is so kind and helpful I felt very welcome! They offered us tea and invited us to try the Sri Lankan food for the New Year. Actually you have access to a private room, bathroom and there is a shared kitchen and office area that you share with the other room so it's a big space in total. The room is very clean, there is AC and the internet is fast. They have a beautiful garden, there are delicious restaurants around it is about 12 min walk to the bus station, near many surf schools and a shop to buy snacks and drinks. I recommend this place 100% and hope to come back.
