Lovely and clean, and the host was very nice. We had a room at the rear. Basically, we had the whole annexe. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent and clean. We were offered the facility to use the pool, but unfortunately couldn't. The host catered for us by providing gluten-free cereal and bread. We were able to have breakfast on the deck overlooking towards the mountains. Recommend the place without doubt.

Several options given for continental style breakfast to help yourself to. Nice touch with fresh fruit left in fridge and home made muesli. Appreciated the convenience of accessing accomodation. Easy parking to one side of house outside accomodation side entry. Nice modern dwelling and facilities. Good option to have use of the owner's pool (we weren't there long enough to make use of this). Nice and comfy lounge to sit in for several people with big screen TV to make use of. Good value for money overall, even though half an hour from our plans in Hamilton.

The bed was hard for me (though was acceptable for my wife). The decision of the comfort level of a bed is crucial with any accomodation and with there being only one guest bed here my recommendation to the owners is to consider investing in a more superior bed for comfort for guests; it would definitely be a great investment and would reflect very well on feedback. Unfortunately for my wife there was a heavy fragrance throughout the accomodation with incense sticks already in use and one inside the bedroom cupboard which we asked to be removed. My wife suffers migraine headaches from these type of smells. Thankfully, after leaving the property for a day this had minimised and appeared to be gone by the time we returned. Whilst this is part of the owner's wellbeing/reflexology wellness business, it may well be a turn-off for some travellers. The one other aspect worth mentioning is that we were advised not to open the windows in the bedroom due to cockroaches potentially climbing in due to garden works outside the window. This meant we couldn't get fresh air in and as it was a hot weekend this was not convenient. With windows closed this was not a problem. The other thing I would mention is that the photos on booking.com really don't reflect the context of this accomodation. This property is an owners home who live and work there and the accomodation is a semi-separate part of the house. This being the case, we still had privacy and very nice, modern facilities to make use of.

First couple things that impressed me were 1) how super clean the whole place was and 2) the homemade granola and fresh blueberries & raspberries in the fridge (it’s the little things for me 🥰). Our hosts were also very kind and helpful; so very grateful for a peaceful & relaxing place to come back to after 2 whole days of competing at a sports event. Hope to have a reason to come back to Cambridge again, I’d definitely come back here. 10/10 recommend
