Poor maintenance with toilet seat loose, paper holder loose. Only one dinner plate and that was chipped, three side plates ,all odd. One fork and two table spoons; that is all. Had to request a second mug. All in all nice place ruined by poor management.

There wasn't much to like at this venue, the owner needs to invest more into the space, the place has plenty of potential, but the caretaker's attitude and the dilapidating state of the establishment make it has for me to give it a good rating. The fact that I had to ask the caretaker to open the gate each time I needed to go out or come back in is definite no-no, I did not like that at all. Plus, he always had something to say when I did. We are not children and there is no reason to be having that in this day and age, there are many inexpensive ways to solve that problem.

Uppon arrival my room was not ready, even though I checked in alter than anticipated. I had to stand outside while the room was being prepared. Once that was done, I found that the room had a lot of problems. 1. The aircon vents were dusty, not good if you have a sinus problem. 2. The blinds in the bathroom and toilet were broken and did not offer any protection. 3. The towel's were old and overused. 4. There was towel used as a bathroom mat which was old and had holes in it. 5. The curtain rail was bent. 6. The toilet seat was broken. 7. The complimentary soap and shampoo can be presented better, at the moment they look like something from a government hospital. 8. The Wi-Fi has poor range, something that can be solved by installing one or two wi-fi range extenders, they cost as little as R219 at Take a Lot. 9. The caretaker was full of attitude.
