Castle Park Guest House

The breakfast was amazing! I loved Ian’s homemade bread and the fact that they tried to limit waste as best they could. I admire them for trying to be as sustainable as possible and I believe they did a fantastic job of it. The location is great, the guest house itself wasn’t on a busy street but was still central enough to be within walking distance of most stores and attractions. There is also a bus stop right across the road which made travelling with heavy bags very convenient.

David and Ian were two skilled and service-oriented people who have a fantastic hotel which is something all its own. Homemade bread every morning for a delicious breakfast. It was fantastic.

Incredible and fresh breakfast made daily. The rooms were a little tight, but quite cozy and very clean. Would highly recommend staying!

The city center was within easy walking distance through a park. Beautiful property, nice, comfortable rooms. The welcome was warm and the breakfast was exceptional - we were really made to feel at home. Thanks for your hospitality, Ian and David!

The hosts were lovely, and the breakfast was to die for! The room was very luxurious too with a cozy element that truly made the experience magical.

The hosts, Ian and David, were absolutely exceptional. They were kind, friendly, generous, and very knowledgeable about the area. They were very accommodating and easy to talk with, and made everyone feel very comfortable throughout our stay.

A beautiful place to explore Edinburgh. Ian and David were very accommodating and I felt very comfortable. I would come back any time and have a great time. I can only recommend the castle guest house!

All I have to say is: do yourself a favour and book your accomodation in Edinburgh at this guest house.

That we had to leave

We had a great stay at this homey guest house which exceeded our expectations. The owners were warm and welcoming, the beds were comfy, tasty breakfast made to order - everything was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

I liked how close I was to the Bruntsfield area for dinners. My room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfasts were very good and I liked how I could modify what I ordered. I really appreciated how Ian gave me a 20% off coupon for the Royal Yacht Brittania and he ordered me a taxi for my next journey.

Perhaps leaving the dining room open a little later? I was turned away from a couple restaurants because I didn’t have a reservation. I thought about ordering take away but didn’t want to eat in my room. I would’ve considered it if I had somewhere to sit down and eat.
